KDB+ with DBine

How to connect DBine to KDB+ and what you can do once it's connected. This page is written from what the KDB+ driver says about itself, so it matches the version of DBine you download.

Connect

  1. In DBine, open New connection.
  2. Pick KDB+ in the list of engines.
  3. Fill in the fields below, press Test connection and then Save and connect.

What the explorer shows

The objects appear right under the connection:

Query editor

The editor uses KDB+'s commands, with completion for the connection's objects. Statements and commands run against the database selected in the tab.

What the editor accepts:

Consultas en q, una por línea (una línea que empieza con espacio sigue la anterior):
select from trade where date=last date, sym=`AAPL
select avg price by sym from trade
meta trade | tables[] | count trade
\v (variables) | \f (funciones) | \b (vistas)
Un comentario empieza con / al principio de la línea o después de un espacio.
